Searching a calendar website for inspiration, I discovered that March 7-11 is National Foot Week. While the focus of the week is primarily foot health, pampering your tooties is never a bad thing.
This week we will look at ways to make your feet feel great! Today that looks like a sumptuous moisturizing cream that will combat the winter dryness we all experience.
I chose some great ingredients to make your feet feel fine. Squalane Butter is one of my favorite ingredients in a foot cream because it does such amazing things for super dry skin. It gives your formulas extra luxury with velvety emollience and no greasy feeling. (Though I don’t mind greasy foot preparations for using before bed, I do enjoy a less greasy feeling cream to use right before putting on socks and shoes or any time my feet could use a bit of moisturizing.)
Rounding out the formula are Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil, Lanolin, and Calendula Oil Extract. Hydrovance is the humectant, and our delightfully minty Spa Mint Medley Fragrance Oil will add a sensory treat for the nose. After all, who wants their feet to smell bad?

Blend thoroughly with the immersion blender until the emulsion forms. Check the temperature; cool to less than 120ºF, then add Liquid Germall Plus and Spa Mint Medley Fragrance. Stir well.
Scoop cream into a plastic bag with a zip closure and cut off a corner to pipe cream into jars. After cream has cooled completely, put lids on jars, label, and enjoy.
Notes
Wow! This formula turned out exactly how I’d hoped! It rubs in really quickly and feels decadent. My feet are moisturized without being greasy.
This also works as a deep moisturizing cream for the hands or wherever else you have super dry skin – think knees and elbows. Give it a try; I think you’ll be really pleased with it!
