A few weekends ago, we had a chilly and rainy Saturday here in Cache Valley. I loved the watching the rain and how lush everything was outside my window but it was COLD! So I made chicken soup and hot dinner rolls with fresh honey butter. Dang! Those were some good rolls. They made the house warm and smell great. And here I am wishing that they hadn’t disappeared so fast! I found myself searching through the archives for a honey flavored lip balm or lip gloss. If you like hot rolls with fresh honey butter, then you will really like this lip gloss. It is sweet with lots of flavor that lasts all day long! Come join us for today’s recipe.

Weigh everything except for the Honey Flavor Oil, Squalane and extracts into a microwave safe container. Heat in short bursts until everything has melted and is crystal clear. At this point you can add the flavor oil and additives. If you want to add any color or mica this would be the time. Stir well making sure that everything is incorporated.
Using a pipette, dispense into the lip balm pens. Allow to cool and solidify just a little before inserting the brush or doe foot tip. Push until you hear a snap. Place the cap on top. Label and enjoy!
