Lip Solutions – For More Than Just Lips 3

Recently we had a customer who asked for our help formulating a lotion bar. We recommended using the Shea Lip Solutions and adding some silicone oils to give it the glide she was looking for. That got me thinking, what else can the Lip Solutions be used for? I went to all of the ladies here at MMS and asked them what they use Lip Solutions for. I was blown away by all the responses I got!

Some of these things I would have never thought of. Some people add extra goodies to the Lip Solutions, and some use it just as is, no fragrance, no color, and no flavors. One of our ladies recently had surgery, and now that her wound has healed she applies the Lip Solutions to her scar to help that scar tissue become more pliable and soft. Not too long ago, Taylor released a blog where she used the Shea Lip Solutions as a Nipple Balm/Lip Balm for new mothers. Another suggestion I got from the ladies here is that our Lip Solutions can be used to apply essentials oils. Some of our oils are too strong to apply directly to the skin. If you have troubles with acne, put a drop of Tea Tree Oil in some Lip Solutions and apply it to the problem area.

Do you have rough and crackly skin? Apply some Lip Solutions! Are your cuticles dried out? Apply some Lip Solutions! Our Lip Solutions could be used to make a solid perfume or a lotion bar. The uses are endless.

Lip Solutions can also be great if used on rashes, depending on the source of the rash. If you ate something that makes you bust out in a rash applying Lip Solutions can help moisturize the irritated skin. If you have a rash due to an external irritant such as installing insulation in a home, then you would not want to use Lip Solutions because rubbing it on the skin could just further rub in the irritant.

I am not going to stop there. Beyond uses for humans, our Lip Solutions can be used on pets, too. Post surgery, once the wound has healed, you could apply Lip Solutions to an animal’s scar. One lady said that she used it on her rescued cat’s paws after he suffered from frostbite. If your pets lick their paws afterward, no worries because all of our Lip Solutions varieties are made with ingredients that won’t hurt your beloved pets. We’ve also heard of people using Lip Solutions on their horse’s feet or goat horns!

I am a little bit of a crazy cat lady. I only have 3 cats and if it weren’t for my husband, I would probably have a house full of cats. As much as I love them, they do scratch on occasion. I like to use the Lip Solutions for all my little kitty scratches. Another of my favorite uses for our Lip Solutions is as a makeup remover. Scoop some out on to your fingers and rub it around to get it warm and melted then rub on your face, and wipe off with a warm, damp towel.
