Finished Shave Cream
Welcome to summer! The craziness has begun here at MMS and I have missed you all these last couple days. So I am back with a fun summer project. With summer here it’s time for lazy days on the beach. Unfortunately for us girls that means shaving your legs. UGH! I know we all hate it and it takes way to long but we do it anyways. I worked with Taylor on coming up with a recipe that will leave those legs feeling silky smooth!
You are probably looking at this recipe and thinking, “What the heck?! Why are you using the Deep Hair Conditioner?” Honestly, I have used the deep hair conditioner as a shave cream for a long time. It’s have a thick creamy texture that covers the skin amazingly and after shaving it leaves your skin feeling extra conditioned. I added some SLSa and Polysorbate 80 to give this cream some lather and Lavender Essential Oil to make it smell good.

Weighing All Ingredients Except for Color

After Mixing Together Conditioner, Polysorbate 80, and SLS
Q.S. means quantity sufficient. It takes such a little amount it is hard to weigh. To achieve the lightpurple color I used a couple drops of each color.
It’s as easy as pie to make this shave cream. Simply mix together all of your ingredients. Pipe into the container of your choice. Label and enjoy!
