Finished Lip Balm… YUM!
I love lip balms and I have made a lot of them. Not all have turned out the way I wanted but I have learned from them. I have also learned that personal preference is KEY! What I like is not the same as what my friends and family like. They can be completely opposite. Today I wanted to make some especially for men. In general, men like things that are firm, long lasting and don’t feel… dare I say oily?
Weighing Waxes
This lip balm is perfect for men. It is very stiff. This lip balm will definitely pass the pocket test. It feels creamy during application but after application it feels like it isn’t going anywhere. This particular good for people who tend to work with intense focus. I can’t wait to try this lip balm during my various outdoor activities this summer.

Weighing Oils
Weigh everything except the Lime Essential Oil into a microwave safe container. Heat in bursts until everything is almost completely melted. Remove from the microwave and stir until everything has completely melted. Add the Lime Essential Oil. Stir well. Pipette into containers or use one of our nifty filling trays! Label and enjoy.

Notes: I really liked this lip balm for days/activities where my hands get really dirty and I don’t want to be digging through my bag or pocket for a lip balm. It is really durable and I felt that it was almost 4 hours later when I was ready to reapply. That might be a record for me. Quick! Call Guinness World Records!
