Many families in the US take this day to observe National Grandparents Day, this day honors grandparents and is observed on the first Sunday in September after Labor Day.
What a great opportunity to show your appreciation and express the love and gratitude we have for our grandparents. After all, we would not be here if it weren’t for them. Make this Day AWESOME for your grandparents; or adopt a grandparent! What does it take to be considered a grandparent? Considerably older than ourselves, and desire.
Some of us may have several grandparents still present in our lives and this day gives us an opportunity to acknowledge them and show appreciation for their hard work and contributions in our lives. What will you do for the Grandparents in your life? Will you make them dinner, send them a card, or just take some time to chat? Adopting any grandparent, not only for this day but any day, will definitely improve our lives and share happiness and joy.
