Today I am doing a nice morning face scrub. I am a morning person. I wake up early, shower, and head to work. I love a nice face scrub while I am in the shower. Something that smells nice and gets the job done well. This will be a 2-day study because I made a big mistake on today’s recipe. My ingredients are all just fine, but I did one thing wrong. Keep reading to find out what happened on today’s “what not to do” recipe.
Recipe: Yields approximately 491 grams or 17.32 ounces.

Good Morning Joy! Thank you for being honest enough to share mistakes and successes! I appreciate it! I will look forward to seeing how this all plays out tomorrow 🙂 Fresh Fruit Salsa sounds really interesting!!! I’ll have to look that up 🙂 Have a good day!
Joy,
I has a few mishaps of my own this weekend. I set out to make comfrey eye cream, and I ended up with a huge mess. I eyeballed the liquid ratio instead of using the measuring cup. Like you, I am going to try it again. This time, I will use the measuring cup. 🙂
Fresh fruit salsa f/o sounds like a perfect scent for a morning facial scrub. Thank you for posting a mistake, it is nice to know that I’m not the only one that makes these kinds of mistakes and it makes me feel better about the ones I have made while I have been learning. I am excited to see how it turns out tomorrow.
I can’t wait to see how tomorrow’s turns out! I’ve never made a scrub before but I do love using them in the morning.
I just have to say I never would have thought to use my magic bullet blender for something like this! What a great idea! This would save me a lot of mess for my smaller recipes!
I love pink kaolin clay. Your face scrub sounds lovely!
I give this one a 5/5 vote, its nice to see that I’m not the only one who makes mistakes! Thank you for sharing, mistake and all! <3
Using the magic bullet is a great idea for a face scrub. I’m not fond of any salt near a client’s eyes. But a great recipe nonetheless.
