Have you noticed? We have some new products in our catalog! Wahoo! Are you ready to learn about the new additions to the MMS product family? Come join me as we look at these together!
First on our list today is the much awaited Blackberry Pomegranate Flavor Oil! Earlier, I invited our readers to join our Research and Development Team. They were able to test a lip balm flavored with the Blackberry Pomegranate Flavor Oil. After an astounding response, we decided to actually add this delightful flavor to our catalog. I personally can’t wait to try it in lip scrubs, lip balm, lip gloss, massage oils and more. This flavor is for all ages and isn’t candy sweet but a very fresh flavor. Think fresh pie, freezer jam, smoothies and similar products. Yum. Try this high in demand flavor today! Also added to our catalog was Dry Flo TS! So many cried when Dry Flo AF was no longer available! (I was one of them.) This version of Dry Flo is made from tapioca starch instead of modified corn starch, but don’t worry! This new Dry Flo is a perfect replacement! This product will impart a silky dry feel in your creams and lotions so you can forgo that unpleasant heavy feeling. I have used this product in a large variety of formulations and am very amazed with the results! A heavy greasy creams suddenly becomes lighter, less oily and velvety. You can even use this in conjunction with arrowroot powder to make a talc replacement in a body powder. Light creams and body powders, here we come! Last, we have an very exciting and unusual addition to our catalog. Please read the description entirely prior to ordering! This new “product” is called the Sampler 7! It is very common for people to ask for a sampler kit. We scratched our heads wondering how we could made tailored sampler kits for each person. This is how we solved this. You can create your own sampler kit! So, how does this work? Choose 7 1 oz size bottles of the Fragrance Oils, Essential Oils or Flavor Oils of your choice and add them to your cart. Add the Sampler 7 to your shopping cart. There must be eight items in your cart. No more, no less, otherwise you will not qualify for the free shipping that accompanies the Sampler 7! Select Priority Mail as the shipping method. When your order crosses the order desk, the shipping will be removed. From there, your package leaves our facility and will be on its way to you! |
Oh goodie!! I was wanting some dry flo a while back, so will have to try yours…would MUCH rather have tapico starch, than corn starch so this is great news!! :-)) Course it may be a little while before I can order, since I’m out of “playtime” money right now, but…I have several things I’m wanting to order, so hopefully I can get some together soon! Thanks for listing your new products. 🙂
I’m glad to see the Blackberry Pomegranate flavor added. I was able to test the sample and liked the scent/flavor. I did comment that I would add some sweetener to it to really make it more palatable to the lips. I think I am a member of the R&D team for future product testing. If not please add me to the list. Thanks!
HELP! I just tried to order the Sample 7. When I was ready to check out, the Priority Mail option wasn’t available. Is that because some of the essential oils I wanted to try can’t be shipped priority mail? Can I check UPS ground and still get free shipping?
I wanted to make a hot process Dark Vanilla soap. My cold process soap, same ingredients, turned a dark brown (which I liked). But because I wanted it to be all natural this time, instead of using a Vanilla Fragrance Oil, I used MMS 5 ml. Vanilla Oleoresin for my 68 oz. oils batch. All ingredients were the same except for the fragrance bit. Unfortunately, the vanilla scent is almost non-detectable in the finished soap and the color looks like a vanilla frappe – an off-white. It did not turn dark at all, even with the bit of cocoa butter in the recipe (as I’d used in the cold process recipe). I may take photos and send them to you so that you can let others know.
Oh. I whisked in the vanilla oleoresin AFTER THE COOK, not at trace. Would it have made a difference?
