Ever since I did that Lemon Poppy Seed Week, I have had lemons on my mind. My salads have been topped with a squeeze of lemon juice, my drinks sport a lemon slice, my perfume is Vanilla Lemon and my Post-It Notes are… you guessed it. Lemon Yellow! I decided I just needed to hurry up and get back to my spring fever already. My lemons are driving Andee crazy. She exclaimed “My gosh! The lemons in here are worse than Tribbles!”(Tribbles are from Star Trek. They multiply like rabbits until there is an infestation of them.) See? Like I said, I have a little lemon problem. Okay, maybe a really big lemon problem. 🙂
I decided that a few weeks ago, I covered just about everything for a gift basket. So I decided to make a lemon lip scrub. It is so yummy, I just might skip the exfoliation part! 🙂 The hope is after we head to the test kitchen to make this delicious lip scrub, I will be ready to bring in the new season. Let’s go! Collect Needed Items:
Recipe:
Weigh the Olive Butter, Macadamia Nut Oil and Deodorized Cocoa Butter into a microwave safe container. Heat gently until liquid. Add the remaining ingredients. Stir well. Put into jars or pots for use. Enjoy! Note: When making this recipe, I decided it needed to have a more lemon yellow color. I added some of the Yellow Oil Soluble Color. (Imagine that!) I got the bright lemon yellow color that I wanted. Yay! P.S. I have sent 60 samples to the shipping department. I don’t expect any that any will be left in about two weeks. (Andee is sick of lemons and begging the shipping department to send them out as soon as possible.) Hurry and get yours before they are gone!
