| This is a fabulous time to scrub and cool those tired feet and to get rid of callouses. In the summer time, I wear sandals or I go barefoot as much as possible. As a result, my feet become horribly rough and dry. While a cream will help with the dryness, I really need help with how rough my feet become. I can’t stand rough feet. This scrub is really wonderful and even has a cooling sensation to combat the summer heat.
I chose this scrub because of the sugar and the Shower Gel. Sugar is a humectant. A humectant attracts moisture which helps feet prevent from becoming so dry. The shower gel acts as an emulsifier, preventing the oil from rising to the top and creates a frothy, lathery feel when used. The essential oils create a light, cooling sensation. It makes me think of wearing warm slippers in the summer, then taking them off for a cooling relief.

Taylor, this recipe looks great! I will definitely be trying it out soon, except maybe using strawberry or apricot seeds instead of blueberry, since that is what I have on hand.
