Isn’t aloe just the best thing for skin? It has so many positive properties! Let’s make a luxurious face cream featuring Aloe Vera Butter and Aloe Extract.
Aloe Vera Butter is a softer oil that is just dreamy to use! Aloe has been infused into coconut oil, and this makes a great lotion base oil. We think you will love the feel of aloe all over again.
Aloe Extract is an oil-based extract in canola oil. We’ll add it at a lower usage rate just to boost the great effects of aloe on the skin.
Some Handcrafted Shea Butter will round out the hard oils in this formula. Did you know that with every purchase of our Handcrafted Shea Butter, you help support thousands of women as they support their own families by putting food on the table with stable income from stable work? We are supporting the handmade and sustainable production of Shea Butter by the local women in Ghana. It’s a wonderful cooperative effort and a great product!
Our Oil Perfection Base is a powerhouse of ingredients and one of my favorites to add to a formula. It combines Coconut Oil Fractions, Sunflower Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, Aloe Extract, Orchid Extract, and Vitamin E.
For a scent, I’m going with the ultra fresh and clean fragrance oil Green Clover & Aloe.
Join me in my workroom as we craft what is sure to be a pleasing cream!

Instructions
Weigh all ingredients but Aloe Extract, preservative, and fragrance into a microwave-safe container or double boiler. Heat gently, using short time bursts and stirring frequently, until all ingredients are liquid.
Use the stick blender to blend the mixture into an emulsion.
Check the temperature of the mixture. Allow it to stand at room temperature until the temperature is below 120ºF. Stir in Aloe Extract, preservative, and fragrance; blend well.
At this point, your mixture may be liquid enough to pour into jars. If not, scoop it into a plastic zip-top bag. Squeeze out the air, zip the top, and snip a small corner off to pipe the cream into jars.
Do not put lids on the jars until the lotion has completely cooled. Add lids, label, and enjoy.
Notes
My skin feels so dewy after applying this cream! It goes on smooth and absorbs quickly, leaving behind a moisturized feeling without being overly heavy.
