Good morning! Yesterday, I started discussing beards and products for beard wearers. A lot of men enjoy being able to grow out their facial hair but often run into some struggles regarding products. One of the chief complaints that I hear from men is that many products are heavy, tacky, or greasy and they make the beard feel dirty. Today, we are going to make a beard oil that is so fast and easy, you won’t believe it!

Are you ready? This ingredient listing is so short, if you blink, you just may miss it. All I used for today’s beard oil is our Oil Perfection Base. The Oil Perfection Base is a great product because you can use it as a massage oil, a cuticle oil, a beard oil, a warm hair oil treatment and more!
I do like using small bottles with our treatment pumps for a beard oil because it allows the end user to control how little or how much product they need. What containers do you like for beard oils?

I was wondering if you will be making a beard balm as well? I have made a beard oil before but haven’t been able to get a recipe for a good beard balm that is not to greasy. Thank you for all the help.

Taylor does have a beard balm coming soon! I like the Beard Cream as being non-greasy. Beard Oils can be greasy but this is often from over use. We really found a treatment pump was critical for men to apply an expected amount of beard oil to their beards. Almost always, when given a plain capped bottle, we found men poured out too much beard oil. It wasn’t until the training of a treatment pump were they able to think in terms of drops in their hands. Women generally have years of experience in the realm of cosmetics to train their minds to see the benefit in small amounts. This does not mean that women are never heavy-handed in application of personal care products, just that women have a great level of experience in trying to learn “small amount” while pouring from a bottle. And beard products have their fans with most men having a definite preferences for oil, cream or balm; which is solely based on personal preference.
