Today we are going to talk about upcycling, MMS style! Whether its a bucket, plastic container, or glass jar, I find myself wanting to make something of it rather than just throwing it out.
If you were to wander around the office and warehouse here at MMS you would see tons for buckets and jars being used for different things. Many jars have now become the home of pens and pencils. Others have been repurposed into soap kits. We always have a few jars filled with some Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and Hydrogenated Soybean Oil so that when we need to test a fragrance or essential oil, half of our job is done already! You can read about our pre-made soap kits here.
Did you know that a 5 gallon bucket can easily be turned into a camping toilet? The other day while shopping at our local hardware store I stumbled across a toilet seat that snaps onto a 5 gallon bucket and instantly becomes a camping toilet! Great idea, right?
Another thing that we use our buckets for is a compost bucket. Throw in your used coffee grounds, old fruits or vegetables, and many other things. Compost is essential for a happy and thriving garden! We had Jen from the Label Department make some compost labels like in the picture above. If you would like one then just ask in the comments field on your next order and we will send it with your order. Happy recycling!
