As I sit here and scroll the vast universe that is Instagram, I see that dark lip colors are slowly becoming more and more popular. I know that many people think this is a little crazy. I was initially nervous about wearing a dark lip color cause I have very light skin and hair. The first color I tried was a dark plum color and I was actually surprised by how much I liked it! The dark plum color went perfectly with my white top and, to be completely honest, I felt like a little bit of attitude went with me! If you haven’t tried out wearing a darker color of lip stick, I definitely recommend it. You might be surprised. So, I attempted to make my own Plum Lip Tint and it turned out lovely.

Put your jar of Lip Solutions into the microwave and heat until it is all the way melted. Next you will want to add your color. On this recipe we put Q.S. for the color amounts because sometimes it is just too tiny of an amount to weigh. To get this plum color we did 4 parts Ruby Lip Balm Color, 2 parts Blue Lip Balm Color, 1/2 parts Yellow, Black and White Lip Balm Colors. Stir in all of the colors and pour into the tubes of your choice. Label and enjoy! 🙂
