Crocus Body Polish – A Spa Story 1

6N02TAH-CrocusBodyPolish-9I love using my imagination to transform my humble bathroom into the perfect spa getaway. The right music and right scents go a long way to creating a spa like ambience. I’ll even go so far as to dim the lights to complete the transformation. Today I wanted to create an easy body scrub that is easy to whip up and is the perfect spa accompaniment. Come join me some quiet time and a phenomenal body polish!

This body polish is quite different in texture. The fats, fragrance, preservative, antioxidant and Polysorbate 80 are all creamed to get a smooth texture before creaming in the sugar. This means no heating or melting is required. The resulting body polish is fluffy, rich and easy to apply. I adore scrubs and I think I am in love with this recipe! Try making it for yourself and see why.

Weighing Fats

In a bowl, weigh the oils, Polysorbate 80, Vitamin E Acetate, LiquaPar and Crocus Fragrance Oil. Cream the ingredients together until you have a smooth mixture. Add the sugar and cream it into the fat mixture. Once the sugar is fully creamed into the fat mixture, scoop everything into a bag and pipe into jars. Label and enjoy!
