I got my sample of Rose Garden Body Milk today. Thank you! First of all, MMS Body Milk is wonderful — it’s a summer-light lotion that goes on silky and sinks right in. Lovely. When I put my nose to my arm to sniff, I had an image of me bending over to smell my mother’s cabbage rose — I inhaled deeply and the scent was unmistakeable — old-fashioned rose fragrance from days gone by — right on the button!

I love to garden. Roses are some of my favorite. But sadly I have a tough time getting the to live through the winter. I would love to have the scent of roses in my house year round.

Ugh! I’ve been searching for that elusive rose scent for so long….you know, when you stick your face into a bloom and inhale deeply. It’s present but elusive. Soft but not cloying. I LOVE the smell of a fresh rose. Is this one it???? Is this the rose I’ve been looking for? I’ve several rose scents in the house. No one ever lets me use them because they all smell like “grandma”. That’s not a bad thing is it?!? Well maybe :/ I’m looking for that stick your face in a rose smell. Is this it?

I know exactly what you mean and yes, this is the scent you have been looking for! It is sweet but not overwhelming. It smells so fresh, you will think you have your nose buried into an enormous rose bloom. This is one of the most comprehensive rose scents I have ever smelled. No one dimensional “grandma” scent here. Just fresh, sun warmed petals.

I would love to try your Rose Garden scent! I am having trouble finding the right rose scent for my lotions. I’ve only tried a few but they were too sweet, too perfumey or just not “rosey” enough.

I just got the body milk lotion scented with Rose Garden FO. (I admit I was expecting a sample of the fragrance oil so I could try it in my CP soap, but lotion’s good, too.)
The scent was a nice green-grass rose. It smelled like a much fresher version of the Glade rose air freshener my grandmother would spray in her basement. Ah, happy memories! 🙂 My sister, however, didn’t care for the Rose Garden scent at all; thought it was too chemically. All things considered, I think it’s a nice enough scent, but I like Posh Petals much better because it’s a more genuine, brighter, fresher rose scent.
Can’t wait to try this scent!!! I’m a lotion and scrub maker and would love to test it!!! Heather
Imagine yourself in a garden full of roses. White, red, pink, yellow…… all in full bloom and smelling like a rosey garden of bliss.
That is how I felt when I opened this sample lotion jar. I love the smell of roses. So much so I even gave my daughter the middle name of Rose. It isn’t overpowering and it isn’t too light. As Goldielocks would say “It’s just right”!
PS,
I would use it in CP soap, my rose mold with a goats milk MP base, a tea rose bath tea, bath salts, sugar scrubs and lotion. Pretty much everything I make except for lip balms 😉
I just received my body milk sample scented with Rose Garden FO and I LOVE it! It is not overpowering or too sweet like many I have tried. I even get a subtle hint what to me smells like the leaves of the rose itself. I am not quite sure what it is but it balances the rose scent perfectly. This is the closest thing I have found to the real thing. Thank you!
I received this sample yesterday. While it is a very realistic rose scent, I prefer the existing rose fragrance oil you already offer. And in my book, Somali Rose tops that one.

I was so excited! I received an order today and saw my request for the Rose Garden test lotion highlighted on my invoice. I tore through every item in my order seeking this special gem. Opened the baggie, the small container, and slathered up to my elbow! It smelled lovely!!!!!!!!!!
But. Something wasn’t quite right. I asked my daughter to smell, she thought it was lovely too…….
It was Paradise. Literally. Faint notes of coconut, pistachio, and fruit. We loved it! I’ll want to order some of this lovely FO.
Alas, I did not get to try the Rose Garden scent. I do so hope you’ll add it to the catalog so those of us that missed the testing period can try the fragrance and that it is the un-grandma scent I’ve been searching for. 🙂

No worries Taylor 😉 I ordered a small bottle! It was pretty strong out of the bottle so I fragranced my soap on the light side. This truly has promise. Still a bit powdery smelling but I think after the soap drys out all the way that it’ll be lovely in the shower 🙂
BTW, my 17 year old daughter says that the soap is really pretty. So I had her wash up with a sliver and she said, “I’d use it” – score! First time a Rose scent has been approved by one of my kids. I think you might be on to something 🙂

It brings to mind childhood and my Granny’s REAL roses; beautiful and fragrant! I’ve been making lotion bars and shampoo bars and would love to try this fragrance in both!
