Magic Foaming Bath Fizzies 2

Bubbles are the greatest thing in the world! I think that bubbles are 80% of why I got into and have stayed in soapmaking. There, now you know my little dirty secret as to why I love soapmaking. If you love bubbles as much as I do, come join me for today’s recipe. You won’t want to miss it!

As much as I love bubbles, that is not what makes these bath fizzies so magical. No, it is the color. These little gems stay white but as soon as they touch water, bam color! The magic in these bath fizzies make it great for all of those who are kids or just kids at heart. Come join me today for a simple recipe you can share with friends and family!

Weigh everything except the fragrance oil into a plastic bag. (Some of these ingredients are highly airborne. So much so that wearing a mask may be helpful.) Seal up the plastic bag and gently mix the dry ingredients. You don’t want to shake it because when you open the bag, you will get a cloud rising from the bag. Once the dry ingredients are fully mixed, add your fragrance oil. Don’t forget to double check with the fragrance calculator when you choose a different fragrance. Mix the fragrance oil into the dry ingredients. You can now package your bath fizzies.

Note of Caution: Do not package your bath fizzies in glass. If any water gets into the container then it is sealed up, the expansion can cause a dangerous explosion. Please be safe. We highly recommend “single serving” sizes packaged into plastic bags. These are much safer and give you plenty of cute options.
