| Spring is slowly inching its way into the Northern Hemisphere and I am ready to welcome it with open arms. I wanted to have a challenge that all of our lovely readers could participate in. So my question to you is What is spring to you?. It is Spring Solstice? Easter? The robins arriving? Saint Patrick’s Day? Or does it go way back to Groundhog Day?
All participants must submit a photo of their product and a description about it, include what it is scented with. We will accept submissions of products inspired by spring. All submissions will be displayed on our blog and each submitter has a chance at a special goodie box from the Blog Kitchen. Good luck! Now here is the really exciting news. We will accept submissions in three categories. Soaps, Bath Goodies and Cosmetics. The Soaps category can include cold process soaps, hot process soaps and melt & pour. Bath Goodies includes bath salts, bath bombs, bath oils and even bubble bars. The Cosmetics category will include lotions, creams, lip balms, massage oil, etc. Happy creating! I can’t wait to see everyone’s submissions!

I made this soap for two reasons….1- This has been a very long winter for some of us, and 2- I wanted to make a fun soap for one of my Daughters friends who is fighting cancer right now. SO, I had some fun duck embeds (they glow in the dark) that I used for my grandkids soaps and I wanted it to look like spring…I used a lot of embeds (some are in the water…some are the reeds or grass next to the ducks, and of course the sun). I scented it with Green Clover & Aloe because that is a nice green scent. I hope you like it!
