Summer can be a great time to spend outside walking, biking and doing other activities that keep us on our feet all day. Sometimes after a long day of use our feet cry out “Sit down! I’m tired and sore!” When we finally get a moment to sit down our feet ache everywhere. Turn the ends of those days into a quick pampering time for your feet by wiping your feet off with a cool, damp washcloth; applying your favorite foot cream; then putting on a pair of clean socks or in house slippers. Today I’ll share my latest foot cream formula with you, I think you will enjoy it as much as I do.
You may be asking why I chose some of the ingredients that I did, so come with me and learn why. I chose the High Melt Point Shea Butter because it gives the cream a thicker body which is perfect for application to rough and tired feet. Having a thicker cream also allows for the feet to be massaged. While the Peach Kernel Oil has been in our catalog for over several months now, it is still a relatively new product. I’ve been trying to come up with more uses for this product and I thought this cream would be a great use for this lightweight oil to compliment the High Melt Point Shea Butter. This oil also helped give the cream a velvety after-feel. As this is a summer pampering foot cream, I think that a little bit of cooling should be helpful. Menthol contributes to a cooling and tingly sensation so I added it to this cream. I also added some Rosemary to give a pleasant twist to the scent of Spearmint. This lotion smells very fresh and calming.

This sounds wonderful!!! I think we all should know that it needs to cool completely before sealing the jar, but it is important. I am going to try this one out today!
this is a great recipe. I’ve been making something similar for a couple of years now and usually apply it to my feet / elbows/knees every night. I am 33, practically live in flip flops and my feet are super smooth! Huge thumbs up! mental not to self – must try menthol crystals!
