Cuticle Cream with Wheat Protein 1

I am back in an extremely dry climate and my cuticles can prove it! Scary! Now is not the time for me to apply to be a hand model. I am also too embarrassed to get a manicure. (Yes, they really are that bad!) Today I wanted to make a cuticle cream that would soothe and hydrate the cuticles. Shall we head to the test kitchen?

I added wheat protein to this recipe for the amino acids and high glutamine levels. Wheat Protein also adds moisture, perfect for a cuticle cream. This is one ingredient that takes a product out of the ball park in quality. What do you think?

I also added Isopropyl Myristate to this formulation to prevent an oily greasy feeling in this cuticle cream. I hate it when I try to solve one problem but end up creating another. I really don’t want to leave oily prints on everything I touch.

I really was surprised when I first applied this cuticle cream. It was fluid, hydrating and light. I actually went back for more and applied it to my arms. I can tell where I applied the lotion and where I didn’t even five hours after applying. I want to make a huge batch that I can just bathe in. My cuticles will need a daily treatment but I am super pleased with this formulation. Request a sample in your next order and see if you would rate it five stars too!

I stopped by the warehouse a while ago, hadn’t placed an order for will call I just wanted to know what it was all about. I was able to pick up some castor oil for my hair (which I need to dilute, but I don’t know what with. I just want to use it as a hair mask of sorts), and some lavender essential oil. There was some of this in the basket at the front desk. 🙂 I was only using it on my cuticles, now that I know I can use it everywhere… I really love this! It smells odd if you sniff it, like wheat, which isn’t surprising. It doesn’t REALLY smell though. I like it! I’m excited to do a will call for the first time, haha I’m only 17 with no credit card, so I’m lucky you’re only a ten minute drive away.
I am really interested in getting into soaping and all this glorious business! Haha it seems like a lot of fun! I would be the happiest person if I was able to come learn in the “kitchen”! I know you haven’t done classes in a long time, but it would make me so happy!
