This sounds like a spa type ingredient. (Which I Love!!) I think I would try to produce a line focused around this flavor. Balm, massage bar & oil. Massage bars are my biggest seller here in Rhode Island. Raspberry Truffle and Vanilla Swirl being my top 2. With valentines day around the corner this would be great. A massage bar with natural cocoa butter, heart shaped, I’ll bet it smells like candy.
I think my family and friends would love a new flavor of lip balm, Pomegranate Blackberry sounds wonderful. Only Concern I would have is if I would have room on my label for the name of the Flavor Oil.
Since I started making spa products several months ago my kids get excited every time I start a new batch of lip blam because they know that a new flavor is coming up. We eat a lot of blackberries in the south, mainly wild, but never though to mix pomegranate and blackberry. Next order coming next week! Can’t wait to try this one. Thanks for the tip.
I totally would try this out. I have lip balm tubes and ingredients, but wasn’t sure how I was going to fragrance/flavor them since I only have EOs and FOs. I’d love this! I sell at the Spokane Public Market year round.
Just sent you a email from trying this Taylor. I’m not sure if you want me to give my feedback here or not. I don’t want my feedback to influence anyone elses first responses. However, if you’re not worried about that I’d be happy to post it up 🙂
Great combo with a hint of each. Nice and fresh, I would increase the flavoring oil a bit to have more staying power when wearing this. Will be ordering some to make our own lip balms. Thanks MMS

I just tried the pomegranate blackberry lip balm that was with my order. It smelt fantastic! It reminds me of when I was little and during late spring/early summer I and my mom would make jam. The only comment I’d say maybe I’d change is that it doesn’t have much flavor. I heavily applied it to my lips and still didn’t taste much. So I straight out licked the lip balm. Lol It’d be fine with some sugar kisses but it’s not one that would stand alone flavor wise.
Mix this in a lip sugar scrub and they’d go like hot cakes (with jam!)!!
I got my sample today! I liked the flavor. The name alone is enough for me to pick it out of a crowd of predictable lip balm flavors like strawberry or grape. It did taste/smell fruity, although I don’t think I could have named either flavor if I didn’t already know that’s what they were. I have to agree that it didn’t taste very strong, but that may be the amount used, not the oil itself. With more flavor or sweetener, I’d recommend it and/or give it away, but I probably wouldn’t buy it just because I’d rather have the straight pomegranate one.
I got my sample today! Just on opening the balm, I love the intense fruity fragrance. I agree with what was said about it standing out from ‘regular’ favors. It had really distinct berry notes and did not seem like generic sweet fruit. I do tend to flavor my lip balms a little more assertively and sweeten lightly. I would definitely buy this flavor and would love to experiment with the two sweeteners from MMS! I think the novelty would intrigue people, and the flavor itself is enjoyable enough to bring them back.
Hi there, I just unpacked a big box of goodies and found my sample of the Pomegranate Blackberry lip balm! I really liked it the smell of it and think it is a keeper. I even had my 17 year old son try it and he really liked it as well. I think it will be a great seller. I am thinking I might add some sugar kisses to it though to make it a little sweeter on the lips. Thank you for the wonderful sample. I need to place another order this week so I’ll be ordering a bottle of this flavor oil to try out on my customers. Thanks again for letting me be a tester!
I unpacked my order and found the lip balm inside. I popped that puppy right open and tried it. I absolutely love it and so will my friends. Can’t wait to get some and make up some lip balm myself. Thank you for making such wonderful products and thank you for sending one of them to me. Love it!!
Just curious if an email had been sent out to the people who tested the lip balm and left a comment/feedback. I have been checking the spam folder just in case I missed it. Thanks!
I loved the smell of the pomegranate blackberry! The lip balm itself is harder/waxier than I make mine, so that threw me off and I noticed that much more than the flavor. My hubby told me I was just a chapstick snob, lol. It could use a little something to make it “pop”, so I agree with other reviews that I would make it stronger or probably add sweetener, but it is still a lovely sweet flavor just as it is. It is definitely one I would buy. Thanks for the sample!
roxy I was curious about that too. I haven’t heard anything about the reward back. Maybe that’s because there hasn’t been 15 people who have posted here? I dont know if a requirement is to post here or email or both??

I would love to try it. I’m always experimenting and giving it away to friends then asking for feedback! That sounds like a winner!
That sounds lovely for a lip balm.
Oh that sounds tasty and yes I would love to be trying it out in my lip balms!

Guess we’ll have to wait and see…..patience has never been one of my virtues! Lol 🙂
Has anyone else heard about the ‘special gift’ for those of us who tried the lip balm and commented?
