| The other day I was needed on the Order Desk to take a phone order. I had a lovely conversation with Lorraine. She is a big fan of Victoria’s Secret Vanilla Coconut Passion Lotion but they discontinued it! She had gone through our catalog and found the several Vanilla scents that we carry. This was the first lotion I have used Emu Oil in. I must say, I was quite impressed. I tested it on one hand so I could compare. My hand was left soft, smooth and silky. The lotion did not leave a greasy feeling and I know some men who would be impressed by the texture as well as the results! Two days later after only applying the lotion once, my hand is still soft. Weigh everything except the Optiphen into a microwave safe container. Heat gently until liquid. Using an imersion blender, mix the solution together. Stir occasionally while the lotion cools. When the lotion has cooled to below 120 F the Optiphen and fragrance oils can then be added. Stir well and pour into containers. Enjoy!

I am glad you are promoting emu oil. Beside avocado, it is one of my favorite! It is actually how I started to make my own soap. I try an emu soap once and thought it was the best thing ever invented… although a bit pricy. Then I started looking at soap making and it turned out to be a great hobby. I still have yet to make a soap with emu oil, but I like to use it in my face cream or when I really need it, I use it directly on my face. Fantastic oil!
Is this thicker like a cream or more liquid like a lotion?
