Fragrance Friday! 57

I have several fragrances on my desk that have accumulated there for testing purposes. The funny thing is I often use a Perfume Testing Strip and sample the scent then do nothing more with that particular bottle. These bottles vary in size but most are 1 fl oz. Would you like a fun sample to try? To join in on our Fragrance/Flavor Friday all you need to do is comment here on the blog. Tell me you would like to try one and tell me the first 3 or 4 scents you can think of that are at the top of your list for sampling. I can’t promise you will get any of your requests, but I can promise a bottle. I believe I have about 30 one ounce bottles on my desk. Would you help me clear it off so I can work on new projects?

Just post your comment and Monday morning we’ll contact you for your address so we can clear my desk for new projects.

THANK YOU!

About Tina

I started thesage.com in 1996 with the help of my husband. Now I get to help people make all kinds of soaps and bath and body products. I think my favorite things to make are lip balms and lotions/creams. Of course I get most of the soap technical support questions because that is my strong knowledge area. Glad this blog is here!

You have so many to choose from and you are always awesome at sending samples.
As far as fragrances go I think I would like to smell Alice, Bergamot & Chamomile, Black Amethyst and Fresh Fruit Salsa. Those are just a few to start with.

Someday I am going to add to my Essential Oil collection the oils of Bergamot, and Neroli.

And for the Flavor Oils…I will get brave and get some Chocolate Bacon flavor. Everyone raves about it but I still cannot wrap my mind around the flavors.

I would love to try bunches but…hmmm, here are probably some of the top ones. Autumn Afternoon, Cucumber, Dream & Endless love. I would have put one of the apple ones in there, but I haven’t figured out which I want on my wish list yet. LOL I’m kinda new to soaping, so still trying to pick my scents…don’t want lots of them, but would like a few to choose from. 🙂

I tend to like clean scents, vanillas, sandalwoods (my new favorite) and Ambers. I just did a mix with Amber f/o, patchouli e/o and wasabi f/o. Something different would be nice, broaden my horizons!

Maybe it’s because spring is coming and it will soon be time to garden, but I’ve been in a “fruity” mood lately! Scents like Satsuma, Fresh Fruit Salsa, Huckleberry, and Lemon Sugar sound really yummy right now!

Wow this is tough because you have so many fragrances that I want to try. But I would say anything fruity (like your grape or pear, etc) as I am really ready for summer here! I already love your Kalarahari Melon. I would also love to try the Citrus & Basil, or Somali Rose, or your Coconut (I was disappointed with another vendor’s). So feel free to send some cast-offs my way! Oh, but wait–I’m sure after I sample I’ll have to buy; maybe you shouldn’t ;D

I have been itching to make some more soap. Since we are in the process of moving, most of my soap supplies are packed and moved to the new home! I would love to have any scent you want to suprise me with (I don’t like the sickeningly sweet scents). Just so I can make some soap since it’s so addicting. This way, as soon as the last box is in the new house, I can break it in with the smell of new soap!!!

    Thanks,

Thanks for such an awesome website with so many helpful pictures and explicit instructions! Also, I was brave and ordered the chocolate bacon flavor on Saturday so I’m anxious to see what that smells like. I made some coconut lemongrass lip balm from one of your recipes too and it turned out fantastic too!
