Here is the equipment you will need for making this recipe.
Here is the recipe in percentages, so that you may adjust the batch to fit your needs.
Here is a 100 gram batch. this will fill 10 10mL lip balm jars.
I place my lip balm jars or tubes into the refrigerator to cool. Do not place them in the freezer! We only want the lip balm to cool quickly not freeze instantly. Measure oils into a microwavable container. Heat until beeswax has almost melted. Stir the solution by hand until the remaining beeswax has melted. Add the Lime Essential Oil and Vanilla Banilla Flavor Oil. Stir well. Pour the liquid lip balm mixture into the cool lip balm containers. Allow lip balm mixture to cool. Cap and label. Enjoy this fantastic lip balm! |
What containers were used? They look like the 10 mL lip balm jars.
Yes. Taylor did use the 10 mL lip balm jars for this recipe. Good eyes!
Hello, looks very nice ! What about preservatives ? can I use them ? If not, how long this lip balm can last fresh and nice ? Thank you
Victoria,
Lip products do not require a preservative. They do not contain any water and are considered a single user product. We don’t tend to share our lip products with everyone we meet.
