Cleansing Rose Hydrosol Facial Mask

Next in the trio of Rose Hydrosol facial care products is a fabulous mask!

Masks are a great way to deep clean the skin, drawing out impurities that regular face washing leaves behind. Try using a mask weekly as a bit of self-care spa time and a treat for your face. You can even use the mask down your neck and into your décolletage! Wait a minute, are masks only for women? Of course not! Men can benefit from a good facial deep cleaning also. Skin is skin, no matter whose body it’s on!

Let’s make up this fast and simple mask and give it a try.

FORMULA

33.25% Rose Hydrosol
60% Kaolin Clay
3% Calenda Oil Extract
3% Polysorbate 80
0.25% Vitamin E Natural
0.5 % Liquid Germall Plus

INSTRUCTIONS

Weigh liquid ingredients into a beaker or measuring cup. Whisk to combine or use a hand mixer or immersion blender.

Add clay and stir until all clay is moistened. The mask will be fluid enough to package in a squeeze bottle.

To use, wash your face and pat dry. Apply a thin layer of the mask over your face, avoiding the eyes. Leave on until mask has completely dried out – about 10 minutes. To remove mask, wet a wash cloth with warm water and use it to gently moisten the mask, then wipe it off.

Follow up with a few spritzes of Rose Hydrosol Toner and then Rose Hydrosol Night Cream for some great moisturizing.

NOTES

Thanks to being on the thinner side in viscosity, the mask dries quickly on the face and is easy to remove. My skin felt so fresh after using it! When I followed up with the Rose Hydrosol Toner and Rose Hydrosol Night Cream, I was very much enjoying the subtle rose scent on my skin.
