Using Neem Oil in the Garden 4

Cucumbers

The other day while I was mindlessly scrolling through Pinterest I came across something that said you could use Neem Oil in the garden to keep the bugs away. In our company garden we have three cucumber plants that were just being eaten alive, they looked on the verge of death. So I went to the blog kitchen and made a mixture of 10% Neem Oil to 90% Water. Back out to the garden, I sprayed it all over the few plants that were looking really sad. In a few days we started seeing real results! I’m sad to say that one of the plants didn’t make it, it was just too far gone. The other two are alive and well. and producing more cucumbers than we know what to do with. I was so surprised by how those plants looked almost dead a few days ago and now are turning green again. I am so happy about how well this worked so I wanted to share it with all of you. Just make sure to shake the bottle well before each use because the oil and water will separate. Try it out and I hope it keeps those pesky bugs from stealing your garden.

I have used neem oil in the garden too, but never really had a ratio to go by. Something is eating my tomato leaves leaving just stick like stems 🙁 Will get the spray going. How often did you spray?

    Thanks,
    Terry

I use Neem oil in an animal shampoo bar I formulated. 🙂 It’s great for animal skin and fur, plus it helps with fleas!
