Today I have reason to pause and think a little bit. One of my coworkers has learned that her mother has fallen ill. I found this news to be incredibly sad and I would like to ask that you call, write or otherwise message, those who are important to you. After all, there is truth in the quote “Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift and that is why it is called the present.”
Each of us is blessed in our own ways and in this crazy world we live in, it is all too easy to lose sight of those blessings. Today I will be making a few lists. One of the lists will be things I like about myself, another of who in my life is important to me and my last list will be things I am grateful for. Won’t you join me?
By the way, I am grateful for our readers. Your comments help me feel connected to you. Thank you for your friendship.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your friend. My daughter Cheryl started buying your products 15 yrs ago (and we still do). We found out yesterday that she has stage 1 cervical cancer. So I get it! I will start those lists today.
Our prayers go to you and your daughter! I hope things proceed smoothly for her.
