Diane shared with me her beautiful soap dish and I thought it was so stunning, I just had to share! Diane’s soap dish is unusual from most modern soap dishes because it has a cover. Wow! Now I definitely want to see what other soap dishes are out there.
I was lucky enough to find this porcelain beauty in a thrift store. By the mark on the bottom, I can tell it was made between 1911 and 1940. I’m guessing it was made in about 1920 due to the style of the painting. I love and collect old Japanese porcelain. The interior of the bowl contains a separate insert for draining the soap. We use it every day.
Thank you for sharing Diane!
While this post does conclude our little soap dish challenge, feel free to keep sharing. You may just inspire a delightful goodie package being delivered to your door! What other challenges would you like to see in the future?
I was just thinking how nice it would be to have a soap dish that holds several bars of soap. I’m always testing driving several bars at once and it would be great to have something like this! Thanks for sharing, Diane!
