Planning for Christmas!
Today I wanted to share some things you need to know for the remainder of 2015. Christmas is right around the corner and packages are shipping all around the United States and around the world. If you are waiting for a package to arrive, may I suggest signing up for UPS MyChoice? It is a free service offered by UPS. Any time a package is shipped to your address they will let you know via email giving you a tracking number and a estimated time of delivery. This is a perfect way to outsmart those porch package thieves. You know when to expect your UPS man. Should you not be home, talk with a neighbor. Cookies are often great bribery for the neighborhoods kids to make sure your package arrives safely. 
Also be aware that Friday is the last day to pick up a Will Call order. It is also the last day our phones will be available. If you need to place an order over the phone, Friday is the last day to do it. Everything after Friday will need to be done online.
Next week on December 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, we will have a partial crew on hand to process and ship orders that have come in. Want your order in time for Christmas? December 18th is the last day to ship 3 Day Select packages. December 22nd is the last day for 2nd Day Air packages and December 23 is the last day for packages shipped Next Day Air.
We will also have a partial crew December 28th, 29th and 30th. We will spend those days processing and shipping online orders. Our phones and full staff will be back January 4th ready to serve all your needs! We hope you have wonderful holidays and an awesome break!
As someone who has had to deal with UPS a lot, using my choice is a great way to track your order and get an actual delivery day. However, it’s an extra $8 to get a 2 hour delivery window, if you don’t pay that, then your tracking number will just say “by the end of the day” which could be as late as 10-11 pm this time of year! If you can’t be home, you can also call their 800 number, and they have several options to choose such as giving them your garage door code, which they can only access while at your home, or having boxes delivered to your local UPS store, where you can pick them up, which is what I do now. I get a text when something is at the store, and I can go get it when I have time! That works out pretty well for me!
