Hello Tonya, I’d like to try the recipe as I pretty much have many of the ingredients on hand, except for the Squalene, which I believe I can use a light oil like rice bran as a substitute? Comments?
Can you tell me, based on your ingredients’, would this conditioner be good for dry, oily or normal hair? Any thoughts on using it during the summer where it seems very humid and rainy this year.
Thank you.
You can substitute Rice Bran, Sesame Oil or any oil that is light would be fine. You can also omit the Squalane and adjust the % into other ingredients. This would be best on dry to normal hair. You can try to use this product at night before going to bed and use as much as you would like. This may help you decide the quantity that your hair works best with. I also sprayed this into my hands and worked into the ends of my hair first and added more as needed.
