I hope that this series has inspired you get out and enjoy your local community events like the Farmers Market, Food Co-Ops, and CSAs. To enjoy the great produce and art that we can find at these events makes a stronger sense of community and community-ownership. Maybe you will try new food recipes with your great finds, or you may be inspired to create your next lotion, soap, scrub, or lip balm.

Haven’t “fruity” stuff, but may give it a try.
We are fortunate to have a vegetable and herb garden this year. Working together in the garden is an excellent experience for our family and gives us many cherished memories together. I will now have to think of ways to incorporate some of that into soap and lotion projects for us to do together. Thanks for the inspiration.
It will also be nice to give friends goodie baskets with vegetables and garden inspired bath products made by our family.
I havebeen incoperating herbs I have gotten in bath salts and lotions.
Thanks! This is awesome! I sell at my local Farmer’s Market each week and MMS is there with me always in spirit…and in my products! 🙂
I can’t wait to try some of these ideas and see how they turn out. I love summer time for all the fruits and vegetables fresh out of the garden.
My “farmer’s Market” is in my backyard but I love to gather the herbs for infusing or mixing into lotions and/or soaps!
I love being a part of our local farmer’s market to be able to offer our handmade artisan soap, herbal salves/balms,& natural alternatives. There is a close sense of community that you just don’t get at other venues. A lot of children, families, & pets.
I like to offer different products such as natural laundry alternatives, natural insect balm, & find it rewarding to utilize the local farmer’s veggies, herbs,& fruits in our soap. It’s all about support & community-I love my market and what it offers.
I absolutely love my cream and lotion supplies from thesage.com. I use my own infused dried calendula petals oil for the Roobias hand cream recipe and it is wonderful. Customers who have bought it from me just love it… I plan on making a lot more….
My favorite Farmers Market is 100 miles from my house..but it’s also the halfway mark between me and my son’s house- Last year I bought home made soap from a vendor, it was very pretty!
