Freebie Friday! 8

Macadamia Nut Oil

Macadamia Nut Oil

I hope everyone has has a good week and I know I’m glad it is Friday! This week has had me running with packing, moving, and unpacking again. I’m completely moved and mostly unpacked. I’m loving the new apartment as I now have more space. (Including space for soaping!)

Now, onto this week’s giveaway! This week we are giving away some partial items from our Production Department. Many of the partial items are sent to the blog kitchen and our collection of partial items has gotten overwhelming! Not only are you helping us keep the blog kitchen clean, but you get to play with some new goodies too! This week’s goodies focus on fun fixed oil ingredients! This box has a bottle of Macadamia Nut Oil along with some other surprise fixed oils. I think this box will be the perfect box for experimenting while making lotions and lip balms!

The winner for this week is … Kathy R! Congratulations! I will be sending you an e-mail for your mailing address. Your treasure box will be sent out next week!

Remember, if you comment any time during the week, you are automatically entered into the Freebie Friday Drawing.

About Andee

Director of Happiness. I'm a thirty-something soap snob. I've grown up with handmade soaps, and I love them! I really like making lotions, soaps, and perfumes. I adore mixing scents to come up with something new. My favorite scent is either Wicked or Cotton Candy. I tend to hoard fragrances, I even have an Earl Grey Tea from the MMS catalog. I won't tell you how old it is, but it sure is good!

You will love, love, love macadamia nut oil. I wouldn’t be surprised if you hold the bottle and say “Baby, where have you been all my life?” in the most sensual voice you can muster.

    Hi Andee!
Moving is a time of renewal albeit a difficult time to pack, unpack, continue with regular life activities. I wish you all the best in your new home and hope you find where you put everything ! Macadamia nut oil is simply one of the best in silkiness for all body products. Of course with Valentines day chocolate covered Macadamia are awesome! How about cocoa butter, macadamia nut oil bath truffles for a delicious calorie free delight ? ! best wishes, donna

Hi Group – I am new to soaping and my first batch was a bomb and not in a good way. That was about 6 weeks ago and I haven’t tryed again (yet). However, I have had some great success with lotions and lip balm. I am having so much fun! Thank you MMS!

I have been making cold process soap for about a year now, I have used the 7,6,5,1 recipe with great results. I have tried shea butter, cocoa butter, sunflower oil among others, but never macadamia nut oil. I would love to get the chance to try this oil. Thanks for all of your great information and phone help!!!! You guys are awesome!!!
