My travels in China keep me from the USA this year, but my spirit celebrates the birth of the USA. Many people celebrate by barbecuing, attending parades or watching fireworks. My favorite thing to do each year is to attend the local firework show. There is always one song that plays each year and I happily belt along with the song, “Proud To Be An American” by Lee Greenwood as it plays with fireworks bursting overhead.
