By the time you read this post, Tina and I will probably be in the air on our way to Miami for the 2011 Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild Conference. We’ll be in Miami this evening through early Saturday morning. If you are either attending the conference, or just in the area, we would love to meet you! I have my camera and computer with me, so I plan to post about the conference while we are there! We will still have our regular daily posts, but you will see posts in the evenings reviewing the days events of the conference. I’m fully expecting to feel like my brain is stuffed with lots of information each day. 🙂
Tina is one of the speakers at the conference! Her presentation, Zen Marketing: Promoting Your Brand While Calming Your Nerves, will discuss how to promote your brand with only 1 hour a week. When we get back, there will be a bonus! We will release Tina’s presentation to the blog, so even if you couldn’t come to the conference her advice will be available to you!

Just a head’s up… the CDC reported two cases of Dengue Fever in Dade County so far this year. You get it from mosquitoes. My nephew is getting married in Brazil this June 3, so I’ve been doing research. I made up a Shake & Spray Body Mist for the wedding guests using 25% Lemon Eucalyptus — the only plant approved by the CDC, FDA, EPA for repelling the nasty critters.
