OK, so our weather was warming and we really did see temperatures in the 50s this week. But then we got clobbered with a good snow storm. 7 inches of snow fell and we had to get on our coats and find the snow shovels again. Even though we are wonderfully happy to get the precipitation on our farm lands, we were dreaming of warmer weather. So today we are going to focus on something very warm, summery and inspiring for the upcoming summer.
PEACHES! We have a Peach FRAGRANCE and a Peach FLAVOR. Today I am giving away 4 one ounce bottles of Peach FLAVOR. This is for lip balms, massage oils and similar products. This is not for candy or soaps. It is intended to give an aroma and a good taste.
So… how can you win one of these beauties? All you need to do is write a little poem about peaches, summer, and warm weather then post it in the comments section of our blog. We’ll take the first 4 poets and send them a bottle of Peach Flavor. Just in time to inspire everyone to create their summer lines of lip balms!
It is Flavor Friday! Peach Flavor,
“Movin to the country, gonna eat me lots of peaches….. Movin’ to the country, gonna eat me lots of peaches- Peaches from a can, they were put there by a man….” LOL OK OK just kidding… just kidding.. I’ll leave that song to the Presidents as it belongs… here, a peach Haiku..
Bright Juicy Peaches
Hang on the Big Sunny Tree
How Delicious, Yummm!
hehehe
There once was a fruit… called peach
That grew on a tree.. just out of reach!
With ladder in tow
We can pick all that grow,
And eat them up down by the beach!!
ROFL! I’m loving it! Kristen and Tami, you will be getting a Peach Flavor Oil on us! Thank you for participating. I am just loving this. 🙂
Peaches, so yummy!
Peaches, so sweet.
I love me some peaches,
All summer long we must eat.
Oh what can I say…. Looking up in the sky and seeing peaches everywhere,
Oh how big and round they are makes me what to jump up and eat one.
If only I was a little taller then the trees, I could reach them and sway in the breeze…
I just heard that Presidents song the other day, LOL. Here’s another haiku…
Scent of ripe peaches
Sweet nectar drips down my chin
Patience, summer comes!
Peaches, the fuzzy fruit,
with skin so soft and juices sweet
dripping down my chin; such fun to eat.
To hold or bite; either a delight!
I am so jealous 🙂 Europe is too far!!!
Thanks!! Hey, I’m coming up there next week to pick up some things, I can save you guys the shipping and just pick it up when I’m there if that works! – Kristin
We loved all of the submitted poetry! We either found our selves laughing so hard with some or sighing and wishing summer and peaches were here now!
As a gift, I will be contacting all six poets for a shipping address. (I know we only said 4 bottles would be given away! We loved all of the poetry, so we are giving away 6 bottles instead!)
Thank you for participating in this fun giveaway!
P.S. Kristin, I’ll have yours ready with your order!
