Yippee! I’m excited to say that our blog is now up again! While we have been hard at work fixing the blog and answering your questions on Facebook and TheSage Forum. We are happy to say that we have everything fixed and we are still here!
Thank you for being wonderfully understanding while we have ironed out these small problems.
Since I am on the subject of the blog, I would like to share a little detail about the blog that you may not be aware of. We have recently implemented a 5 star voting system. These stars are easily found at the bottom of each post. This allows all of our readers to tell us if they like a particular blog post. Now you don’t necessarily have to share a comment, voting by stars will let us know if we are being helpful! (We still love comments, but we do know what it is like to feel like your mind is a blank slate! 🙂 )
Don’t forget that you can sign up for an e-mail of the blog. You don’t have to leave your e-mail program, you don’t have to wait for Facebook to update and most importantly, you don’t have to worry about your e-mail being sold or used for anything else. (We hate spam just as much you do, so we don’t put your e-mail in that situation!)
Back Up Again!,
Hi,
This message is for Tina. I wanted to let you know that my students loved the letters from Flat Stanley. BUT……… they were thrilled with your very large boxes that you sent to us. Imagine our surprise when we opened them to find all kinds of wonderful snacks! We have snacktime every morning, so your snacks will be put to a very good use. Our absolute favorites are of course the Tim Tams. Did you send those to us on purpose knowing that we write to students in Australia? I have traveled there and know for a fact that Australians love Tim Tams. I definitely missed those cookies when I returned to the states. So I was in heaven this morning with my hot cup of coffee and two Tim Tams! Don’t worry………. I shared! Every student tried two of them with their morning milk. Thank you for being so generous and for taking the time to correspond with my second graders. We are learning a great deal about Utah. It would be fun to live in a city named Paradise. Maybe I will have to visit it one day just to say I traveled to Paradise! We hope you will continue writing to us and we wanted you to know that we loved your surprise boxes.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Coats
