Last year, I started testing our fragrance oils to determine if they were compatible with our Cyclomethicone. This testing will help you save time and money when making your own dry oil sprays, like the Monster Away Spray. As I determine the results, I will post them here on the blog and in the catalog as well. Today, I have more Cyclomethicone Testing results for you.
I tested Bella, Bergamot & Chamomile, Berries & Twigs, Black Raspberry, Citrus & Basil, and Coconut Lime & Verbena. All of these fragrance oils were compatible with the Cyclomethicone. There were no beads of fragrance or clouding of the solution, which are indicators of incompatibility between the fragrance and Cyclomethicone.
Keep an eye out for more results of Cyclomethicone Testing. Have any requests for me to test first? Let me know and I will try to test those requested fragrances or essentials first!
Enjoy!
Thanks Andee! What about Warm Vanilla sugar? or pink sugar? I really like both of those.
…And what about Rosemary EO, Lemon Sugar, Raspberry, Elements of Bamboo…wow, the list just goes on and on. I grateful that you take the time to do this for us to save us the time and money! Nothing quite as troubling and finding out in the end, your project is scrapped because something doesn’t work with the other ingredients.
Thanks Andee! Could you please do Lotus? and Ginger? I was just getting ready to make a dry oil perfume spray for me (!) LOL with the Lotus; my mom likes the Ginger.
