Last year we had some wonderful submissions for the 2016 Calendar, so we’ve decided to do this again! Let me shout out from the roof tops with joy, “We are excited to announce the launch the 2017 Weekly Calendar Contest!”

This weekly calendar is perfect for planning your week, recording the books you have read or using it as a journal! Every maker featured will each receive a complimentary copy of the 2017 TheSage Adventurous Makers Calendar, along with bragging rights for being selected as a TheSage Adventurous Maker! Deadline for all submissions will be August 23rd, 2016.

Have any questions? Here are some answers to questions you might have.
Q: Will I retain the copyright for my image(s)?
A: Yes! We ask that you grant us exclusive license for a calendar product. This means that you will not license these photographs for another calendar product, regardless of form displayed.
Q: What kind of photographs are you looking for?
A: Photographs of finished products, raw materials or processes! We are looking for crisp, clear images without distracting labels or watermarks.

Q: Will I have the opportunity to provide my contact information, website or e-mail with my photo?
A: Absolutely! You can provide any contact information you would like to give. It could be a website, company name, e-mail, phone number or even social media pages. I’ve included an example to the right of how this week looked in the calendar.
Q: Can I send you a picture of products that someone else has made?
A: No. You must be the maker of products in the photographs. Private label products may be considered on a case by case basis.
Q: When will this be available?
A: We will be sending the calendar to the printer in October and expect to have the calendars back from the presses in November. As we get more information from the printer, we will share it!

We’ve had so many amazing entries that it’s taking us a little longer than expected to choose the final photos. We expect to have winners chosen by tomorrow (Friday, Sept 2nd)!
