Deena’s Daisy Lip Balm

Deena emailed in asking for help to formulate a lip balm that she could put in our Daisy Butter Pots. Today, I will share that recipe with you. Deena was interested in a softer lip balm. For that reason, I used Mango Oil. Mango Oil is one of the softer oils we have that is solid at room temperature. I also added Shea Oil to add a smooth creaminess to the lip balm. I really enjoyed this finished lip balm, and I think you will too. Come to the kitchen to try Deena’s Daisy Lip Balm.

Weigh all oils into a microwave safe container. Heat gently until liquid. Add the Strawberry Swirl Flavor Oil, Sugar Baby Flavor Oil and enough Ruby Lip Balm Color to cover the end of a toothpick. Pour the lip balm in tubes, jars or pots. Enjoy!

Note: It has come to my attention that we have a limited supply of Mango Oil and will not be able to get any more after this supply is exhausted. 🙁 If you wish to make this recipe without using Mango Oil, I have a list of substitutes for you. (Thank goodness!) Aloe Vera Butter, Avocado Butter, Hemp Butter, Macadamia Butter, Olive Butter, Shea Butter or Soy Butter. I hope you get a chance to try this wonderful recipe. Even when replacing the Mango Oil, it still makes a wonderful and dreamy balm.
