Champagne Sugar Soap

6v10-a-champagnesugarmpsoap-1This melt & pour soap was super fun and easy to make!  We used Champagne Sugar Fragrance in it.  According to the catalog this fragrance is a mixture of the sugary fruits of lemon, bergamot, mandarin, orange, apple, banana, dew fruit and pineapple along with more scents in there.  It’s a really sophisticated, classy scent and turned out great in this soap.

Directions:  This was the first soap I have ever made in my life.  I was so surprised with the finished results because I thought I was going to mess it up horribly and I had this idea in my head that soap is so hard to make.  But it’s not, it’s so simple with this recipe.

My first step was to weigh out the fragrance oil and the soap base, then to melt the soap base to a liquid.  Then you add the fragrance, yellow coloring and a pinch of silver mica to the liquid soap.  Make sure you mix everything evenly into all the soap.  Then last but not least, pour your soap into the molds and allow to cool.  We waited approximately 10 hours before taking the soap out of the molds.
