Tropical Dreams Body Lotion

Tropical Dreams Body Lotion

Tropical Dreams Body Lotion

Having spent some time in Florida for the HSCG Conference, I now have tropical getaways on my mind. I keep thinking about all of the amazing wildlife we got to see and wishing there had been time to visit a beach. Alas it was not to be on this particular trip and so I am left dreaming of other trips I wish to make. If you are dreaming of sun, sandy beaches and sea breezes, come join me for today’s lotion.

I decided to scent today’s lotion with our new Tuberose Fragrance Oil. The tuberose actually originated in Mexico but were spread to the rest of the world during the 16th century. It grows in tropical and subtropical areas and the tiny blooms are deceptively fragrant. If you are looking for a unique tropical floral scent, I highly recommend giving our Tuberose Fragrance a try.

Weighing Oils

Weigh everything except the Tuberose Fragrance Oil and Liquid Germall Plus into a microwave safe container. Heat gently until the oils and waxes are liquid. Using an immersion blender, stir the mixture well. We don’t want the lotion to separate on us! Once the lotion is below 120°F, add the Tuberose Fragrance Oil and Liquid Germall Plus.

At this point, I like to scoop my lotion into a plastic bag so I can pipe it into my jars or bottles. Once the containers are filled, cap and label them. Enjoy!
