Coconut Oil comes from the dried meaty flesh of a coconut, while Cocoa Butter comes from the cacao bean. I think you could make that recipe and not have any issues as long as you know that she is not allergic to any of the ingredients. Have fun! Jaellra-

I'm a lip balm junkie, I use it constantly all day long every day;) Your Shea Lip Solutions Kit is amazing too. It's very smooth, makes my lips feel great, and there's a gloss without the sticky of most lip glosses. I like it a bit sweeter so next batch I'll just throw in some of the Sugar kisses FO. I'm making some lip balms for 4 of my younger nieces, one is allergic to Coconut oil, can I make some from scratch, your Cocoa Mint Lip Balm?
