I just received a notice from UPS about a possible shipment disruption in Northeast Georgia due to severe winter weather.

Impacted Services: Severe winter weather is affecting operations in the Northeast Georgia area. No Pickups, Deliveries, and On-Call Pickup are being made in impacted areas listed.

Expected Resolution: Once weather permits.

If you live in these areas, I hope your packages get to you safely. If you need information regarding your package, please call our office (435.755.0863) between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday. I know it is only the beginning of March, but I have an exciting announcement for Mother’s Day, which is May 10th. Now, through April 20, we will be making items to put into a Mother’s Day personal care gift basket. Our blog on the 20th and 21st of April will focus on putting together a gift basket. The drawing, for the 5 baskets I am making, will be held on April 23rd.

How to win a gift basket:

To enter this drawing, simply comment on the blog between March 1st and April 22nd. Each comment will be assigned a number in the order they are received. On April 23rd, we will draw 5 different numbers out of a bucket. If your number is chosen, you will win!

On April 24th, we will ship the gift baskets out of our facility to get to you with time for Mother’s Day. Only one basket per winner, but that doesn’t mean you can only post one comment!

Anyway, remember, commenting enters you into the drawing. You don’t need to do anything else. We send a free gift basket to you AND we pick up the shipping too! Considering the items that are in this gift basket, I must restrict entries to the US and Canada. If you are outside these countries, you can still comment. I’ll find something else to send to winners outside the US and Canada.

March 20, 2009: Today is the Spring Equinox.  Celebrate the first day of Spring!

March 27, 2009: This is our MMS Staff Day.  We are closed to the public on this date.  Do not plan on any orders leaving our facilities on this day.  We use this day to catch up with our warehouse chores, order processing and product preparation.  We allow our staff a day renewal.

If your order has already shipped, UPS and USPS are delivering today.
